Knight vs Pawn Endgame
One of the basic endgames that every player should know is a minor piece against pawn and the King. When it comes to the Bishop, usually it is very easy. Bishop has to attack any square in front of the pawn and there is no way that pawn will promote (because Bishop can just capture it). So it is very easy to make the draw.
When there is the Knight, the situation is slightly more complicated. There are two cases: regular or rook pawn is on the board
1) when it is a "regular" pawn (from the b-file to the g-file)
Knight moves on the 3 squares (e7, f5, d5). This is a draw because the King cannot attack all those 3 squares at once. When a pawn moves forward, Knight captures it.
There is also a draw if Knight can go in front of the pawn, the difference is that it has to move on 4 squares (h7,f8,e6,g5). Black has to be more accurate here.
