Never play child!
Let this be cautionery tale! LOL!
No - not lol. Was harrowing experience! Yesterday evening Lyubov was in klub where small child play, dottir of Lyubov friend Professor Dyugash (I cannot write name in roman transliteration, lol.) 8 years old! Not professor - child, lol.
Lyubov was asked to play with child. Serious match! In klub, 3 hours' silence! (Lyubov not like silence, everybody always hiss at her, shhh!! shhhh!!!)
Lyubov get ready for very challenging match. Not fun to play kids: you win, feel like monster, lose, feel like idyot. And they often prodigies, no? Laszlo Polgar good friend of Lyubov, Lyubov often give him advice long ago, when Lashi raise the girls. He never mention in his books! Lyubov not angry. But little bit strange that Lashi never mention how much Lyubov help with learning the girls chess! As if Lashi had done on his own! Lol, chuckle, fat chance...! Lyubov teach even Lashi when he young chess player, and very involved in the bringing up of Lashi three girls. Judit always my favorite. Lashi first focus on Susza, Lyubov say: "Watch the little one! She look while we teach older girls! She clever cookie! Hehe!" Lyubov right.
So the last night, Lyubov sigh inward, playing little chess maverick, not like insolent attitude of little people who want to beat older chess players, no respect. Then little girl make stupid first move. Lyubov annoyed: want to humilate older player! Start stupid move, and then crush Lyubov! Lyubov too old for mind games! Xex...
But next, also stupid move. And then more stupid move. Lyubov think: hm, would like to wipe little girl off chess board. But then, Professor Dyugash say to Lyubov come have drink at bar. Lyubov always like drink! So come up. We chat. Old friends.
He say: I little bit worried about malenkaya. He mean little girl, dottir. And he tell me he divorced, mother is in alcoxolics, little girl sad and needs therapy. Lyubov little patience with children need therapy - Lyubov been through Stalin regime, never need therapy! But case of little Olya sad, have much belly ache for nervousness.
Lyubov back at board, and see sad little face of little Olya! Pale and not healthy. So Lyubov, being too kind for world, lose to little girl.
On happier note: in Alkmaar turnament Lyubov beat 6 year old little boy, who cry. Silly child! Lyubov laugh. Child cry harder. Pah.
