Road To 2300 Rapid: vs LIDER25 (1830)

Hey guys! I have decided to start a new series where my goal is to reach a rating of 2300 in Rapid chess. My Rapid rating before I started this challenge was 1883 so I have my work cut out for me. I won my first game against @LIDER25 and earned 58 rating points (I haven't played Rapid for a long time so my Glicko RD is currently very high). I won't be posting every game, just the ones that I think are worth posting.

I played my usual King's Indian Attack set-up and went for an early a-pawn advance to provoke weaknesses on the Queenside. This worked out well for me as my opponent reacted badly. They ended up with an isolated pawn that eventually dropped off. I was able to simplify into an endgame where I had 2 connected passed pawns as well as 2 very active Rooks and this was enough to secure the win. The time control was 10 | 0.
