Standard #34: My Adventure in the King's Gambit
In this USCF rated game from Parma Chess Club I find myself very uncomfortably playing 1. e4 on move 1 (yep, I switched to 1. e4 in Jan 2019!) and I get a King's Gambit OTB against Greg Juneja. So I guess I'm on this journey for real!
This game was a King's Gambit Declined (Classical) where my opponent somehow misplayed the opening before I did. Luckily, I did look at this exact line earlier in the week though so I found a way to punish. In such a violent opening, however, there is much to learn. Can I hold my advantage and execute my opponant?? Well, watch to find out.
Enjoy the game :)
