Standard Game #13: The critical lines of the Scandi sure are scary!

Played an interesting game tonight with some key moment in the opening, middle game and ending!  Thought I would share.      -Stacia

When i think Scandi I think nice, solid quiet game leading to an end game with chances for black, but unfortunately, if white finds the critical lines you get something very different! Sacrifices become possible and if you are a Scandi player, I highly recommend you look at these lines and figure out how to deal with Bxe6!

In this game, however, we got to a pretty equal middle game where black bravely snatches a pawn and tried to hold on. Yes, I am greedy. :) White does manage to apply pressure in the coming moves though, on the position and on the clock! Pressure builds and leads to a critical and instructive moment in the end game.
