One morning on a chess fighting board, the king was setting up the board and telling the plans to the team. The white team. So, everyone get ready on the standard setting and their opponent black was also ready to fight.

The war begins, like normal white moves first. The king's command is to use the king's pawn opening to take the most dangerous fighting center. Then black play e5. Then the light squared bishop want to move to c4 but then the king shout "Don't go there bishop!", "I would like to see Nf3" the king added.

Then the bishop was surprised "But why? Why the knight move first even if my value is same" said the bishop unhappily. "Because that's that is the best development move" the king answered, and the knight adde the king "and because I'm the best". Even though the bishop is complaining, but the king still continue the war against black.

After several moves the king use the bishop to break open black's kingside. Now the knight becomes mad too and the white knight and white bishop started fighting who is better but actually they all have a value of 3

After the war end white still wins but the two minors are showing who is better. The showed so position that they was great. "Look at this!" The bishop said arrogantly.

"Remember that? it's mate in 4 thanks to me" the bishop said. Now the knight want to show his action. "look at that".

"See my great fork" said the knight proudly. Then the king came, "bishop and knight! as you can see knight's great action are in closed position, and bishop's action is on the open position. So..." said the king. "I'm better" said the kinght, "No I'm better" added the bishop. "NO" king said, "youre the same but bishop is more powerful on open position and knight is better in closed position" added the king.

THE END

My readers, the lesson of this story in chess is bishop is better on open position, while knight is better in the closed position. So if you played an open game its better to trade your knight for you opponent's bishop, and vice versa in closed position or game.

The bishop in better on closed positions because it's long diagonal power could move free and have more space to attack. The knight is better in closed positions because of his "L" movement, and the knight could also jump that make it tricky and effective on closed positions.

Now if you already know that bishop is better in open and knight in closed, try to do it in your game, in closed trade bishop for a knight and vice versa in open positions. Hope you can win more of your game with this strategy.
