The Odessa Championship, The Dragon, and the Queen Sacrifice

The Odessa Region Open Chess Championship Final took place on 15-25 June 2019. Grandmaster Stanislav Bogdanovich won the tournament confidently, scoring 9/11.

I can't be particularly proud with my performance, indeed. But played quite many interesting games, and spoiled many promising positions.

A good win with a queen sacrifice:

...In the end of May, GM Bogdanovich's apartment in Odessa had been robbed, 30 000 USD stolen. The story was in local and all-Ukrainian media. But no results of the police investigation yet. The regional chess federation President Vadim Morokhovsky announced plans to organise charity business chess match in order to support Bogdanovich.
