"Beating the English" by Bojkov Review
I don't have time to write a regular full-length review of GM Dejan Bojkov's "Beating the English" repertoire on chessable.com (available here: https://www.chessable.com/beating-the-english/course/18011/). The first thing I have to say is that if you have any familiarity with Bojkov's work, you will know how incredibly thorough he is. This sometimes comes through his chess.com content as though he's rushing; but he has so much to say in such a limited time. In these videos, he has time to fully articulate his thoughts. I'm particularly thrilled with with this video series, because he's teaching chess as much as he's teaching a repertoire. He demonstrates so many general chess principles and ideas surrounding the English that you will find yourself jotting down notes. The following is an excellent example. Of the below position, he says in the video, "I don't like this variation, and you should probably avoid this avenue, because while we exchange pawn for pawn, we accept two weaknesses to the opponent's lone created weakness."

The white Q had just taken on b7, was chased away by Rb8, followed by Rxb2.
The repertoire itself is very good. Bojkov's claim is that he is looking to compete classically against the English, but in my opinion, more than a classical approach, he's developed a repertoire that is aggressive and the play (and plan development) for black is very straight forward --even easy to learn.
Highly recommended to all.
