Bishops in detail

Hi everyone! Welcome back to another one of my posts, this is @MogiLane And today we will be going over Bishops in detail And if you read my last post Knights in detail, you should know that all of this is MY opinion! OK let's get started!  So first of we should discuss were the bishops are best well the answer is.... in the middle! (i'm pretty sure that's the same for all pieces) Let's Check out bishops in the middle 

Notice that ther bishop in the corner controls 7 squares. and the one on the side is the same 7 squares.But the one in the middle 14! So try to keep your bishops in the center just like the knights. SO next up we are going to be talking about the tactics that bishops can do great. The best tactics for the bishop are Skewers and pins. Check this out.

Notice in this example the bishop is pinning the queen because if it moves the king would be in check Therefore winning a queen! Bishops are also great at skewers, check this out.

see how the bishop attacks the queen and so the queen moves therefore winning the knight.
