While analysing one of my student's games, we arrived to the following position:

           The student was White. The game was quite sharp, but his position should be winning now. He blundered it away by playing 1.Nf7??, giving away his 2 strong pieces for a Rook and simplifying all Black's tasks. Yes, the square f7 is a good one for White, but how this idea can be reinforced?

           To convert the advantage, we need a move which improves White's pieces and brings some new forces into the game. Also we need to spot a weak point in the Black's position, which is definitely his King. We can even start to weave a mating net around it, and he will have to give the material up himself, in order to escape it.
