Blackmar-Diemer Gambit

Hello everyone! today im going to cover the blackmar- diemer gambit ( fancy name? fancy gambit too). The Blackmar-Diemer is a very aggressive gambit which has a lot of lines and variations..... although, im going to cover only one as i know only one lol. It works most of the time so i dont need to learn others. So, its name comes from Armand Blackmar who popularised this gambit... so lets get started.

Blackmar-Diemer is played against the scandinavian defense, also known as the center counter......

the main idea for black is to challenge the center asap and bring his queen to an attackable position and quick development for the center....... in this position many might support this pawn or either take it....... but in the blackmar diemer we are going to push d4.

Most of the times black will obviously take this.... after this we offer another pawn to black

he'll take it as he maintains his material advantage...... if he doesnt and adds a defender like knight f6 u guys can just  go with knight c3 and now he is forced to take...and its the same almost........ after this we recapture with the knight....... now the most common move will be developing the knight.... well then we go with bishop c4 attacking f7.

NOW .... the jackpot for u is black plays bishop to g4 pinning the knight to the queen....... 
*kisses* we go for knight d5........... what u guys dont trust me..... just wait black would be surprised..... he will take ur queen..... then we go for bishop to f7 and bye bye sweet dreams its mate........

if he tries to defend f7 well we take his bishop

although wait wait iff iff he plays knight c6 ....... its gonna be a problem because if he takes ur kngiht we;re hopeless...... anyway most of them will just take the queen.... but the disclaimer stands..... if knight c6 first go bring ur pawn out get rid of it then proceed with the game..... so the whole game in its main line looks like this....

this is another interesting line

This gambit is VERY lethal in blitz or bullet games as ur opponent might easily feel u blundered
if playing rapid make all the moves very fast to make them all seem like premoving lol
