Chess life
My Grand Father taught me the game when we were on a family vacation in San Mateo Rizal. I was 16 years old and my competitive instinct and passion for the game awakened as soon as he was done explaining how the pieces moved and we started playing. Shortly after that I started playing chess for the school team and one thing lead to the other.
Due to the same passion for many other sports it was only many years later when I was 19 that I decided to make chess my main focus. Since then I’ve been traveling a lot and been able to play a lot of chess thanks to support from my parents, federation and some chess coaching. Currently I’m working part- time as a Freelance Model in an elderly home for demented people.
After I made Champoin I grew a bit bored of chess and decided that I needed a break and some other things in life. I went overseas to study Fitness and personal trainer in Manila, for about 4 months to forget about chess and move on.
