Firt Blog Post

So this is my first blog post.  I'm not a blogger.  Although I do like to keep track of things.  And I can count on one hand how many people will ever see or even read these.  So maybe this is more for me than anyone else.

I plan to track my progress in learning chess from a sub-1000 rated beginner to a higher and more skilled rating.  I have an idea of what my goal is, and will document my progress via this blog.  We'll see how it goes!
