I Have Been Promoted to the Crystal Division!

After a long hard week of playing many chess games I have been officially promoted to the Crystal Division! I finished third out of a field of 50 strong candidates. You have to finish in the top five of the Silver division to promote to the Crystal division. I won a lot of games this week thanks in part to switching my opening as white. I have been using the catalan opening for about a year now with limited success. I finally decided to try the Ruy Lopez opening to see if a change could benefit me, and it did. I really like the Ruy Lopez and will continue to use it for now.
