Is Pool A Sport?

I was at my cousin’s birthday party this weekend and I saw my brothers playing pool. Now that got me wondering: is pool a sport?

Now, let’s be serious: is it a sport? I mean, it’s got all of the things other sports have: a ball (many, actually), a stadium (the table), and it requires some thinking too. It’s missing one though: physical movement and agility. No moving, no running, no fighting or anything. 

I’m sure you’ve heard of, “Is chess a sport?”

This is a similar question, and I want you to answer it.
