Series Concept: The Nexus Protocol
Logline: In a multiverse of trillions, two teenagers with tragic pasts and world-breaking powers must survive a three-year death academy where survival is governed by the law of even numbers and a father’s hatred.
The Lead Duo
Ren (The Shadow Guardian):
Lore: Raised by a nurse after his mother’s death. His mother's soul lives in his mind as a Cerberus, guarding the "Inner and Outer Gates" of his world-ending power.
Gear: Wears black fingerless gloves. Carries the Duffle Scroll (infinite void storage) and the Ledger Scroll (enemy weakness database).
Weapon: Dual Chakrams with six "Eyes" that trigger on contact: Sent, Fear, Death, Bloodhound, Nerve-Lock, and Kinetic-Dampener.
Note: Ren is the only person who knows what Z looks like under her mask.
Z & Ally (The Dollhouse Survivors):
Lore: Silenced by parents who used a belt to stop Ally from crying. They wear identical outfits with white masks and full white gloves. Z only removes her mask to shower or sleep.
Speed: Z is a high-speed executioner; one second she is feet away, the next her Soul-Cutter Katana has struck.
Ally’s Daggers: Ally (the spirit-puppet) carries six daggers. She moves with supernatural speed and never misses.
Mr. Squeak: A patchwork doll mouse with button eyes. He is a spy with shared vision and micro-blades that cut anything.
The World & The Sovereign
King Kaiphy (KAY-fee): The Multiverse Sovereign. His eldest (The Eleventh) was killed by Z. He has 10 remaining sons.
The Secret Prince: The Second Son is hiding in the Academy under a false identity. The King has no idea he is there.
The Headmaster: Ren’s father. He blames Ren for his wife's death and has placed a bounty on Ren and Z.
The Scale: 5.0 x 10¹⁵² students. The population includes numbers that "don't exist" in standard math (Quinquagintillions).
The Rules of the Academy
The Even-Switch: Students are sorted into Even Groups. If a group becomes "Odd" (due to death), the Academy magic instantly triggers a "Switch" to re-balance the numbers, often with lethal results.
Mutual Immunity: Ren and Z are immune to each other's attacks. Z can look at Ren’s Chakrams without effect, and Ren can see Z’s "Soul-Eat" reveal without dying.
The Hand-Block: Any tech or camera trying to record Z or Mr. Squeak is blocked by spectral hands, maintaining their anonymity.
Day One Timeline (The Arrival)
The Sorting: Upon arrival, students are immediately funneled into their first Even Groups.
Supply Boxes: Every student is issued a storage box for everything they brought (weapons, scrolls, daggers).
The Last Mercy (Dinner): The very first dinner is the only safe meal. The Slurpy Boxes provided at this meal cannot be poisoned.
The Midnight Shift: The Multiverse Blood Moon rises. Ren’s mother becomes aggressive. The "Safe Zone" ends.
Day Two: The first official Trial begins at dawn. From this point on, every meal can be poisoned, and the Even-Switch is constant.
