One of the most interesting player of the past , Akiba Rubinstein has many contribution to the opening theory , middlegame and endgames (especially rook endgames). Here we will look at some interesting ideas from his highly instructive games .

Game 1(The great f3 idea)

The same idea was used against Paul Keres by by Bovtvinnik in 1952! and against Ulf Andersson by Garry Kasparov in 1988! .
