Killer King Achievement

You get this secret achievement by checkmating your opponent with a king move. Given that a king can not directly check another king, it must be a discovered check from the king. Checkmate by castling does not count for the achievement, but instead gives you the 'Castle Victory' achievement. You can get the achievement in both rated and unrated games.

You can get this achievement by playing a friend unrated with you both working together to get the achievement, or you can try to get the achievement in a rated game against a random opponent. Either way, here are the steps to the easiest method.

Steps:

1. Get a winning position against your opponent
2. Trade down into an endgame where you have 2 rooks against your opponent's lone king
3. Perform a ladder checkmate with your rooks, but do not do the last rook move, leaving the opponent's king trapped on the back rank
4. Move your king behind the rooks to the same rank as the opponent's king
5. Move one of the rooks behind the king
6. Move the king out of the way for checkmate

You will need to adapt how you do it depending on what your opponent does, but this is the basic idea.

There are other methods, but this is the easiest in my opinion.
