Hi. Today i was on tournament. I won only 2 games (4 losses), but one of them is very interesting, and i want to show how i won this game. I played as white

Panov attack is my fav counter against caro-kann opening
The main line is 4... Nf6 5. Nc3
I have 2 reasons for playing this move (it isnt the best one)
1. I want to block a3-f8 diagonal

2. i dont like playing with isolated pawns (after 5. c: d5  e: d5 or 5... d:c4

Just developing knights

First interesting moment. My oppenent tried to attack my pawn structure

defending c5 pawn after 7. c:b6 Q:b6 white has weak d4 pawn

We developed our bishops. Now i know that 8. Bb5+ was better.

Trade wasnt good for black but i had to take by b pawn not d pawn

Black had a small advantage, but now white stands better instead Bb5 i could play Qa4 (in stokfish's opinion it was better), but i thought that i want to develop my bishop

Fish didnt like my 11. a3 but i think that i couldnt win without that. also black's a6 was weak

now i can push b and c pawns with a good effect.

i didnt know why my opponent played that but stokfish thinks that this is one of better moves

now black loses queen and game, but my opponent still tried to stalemate. Now ill show you full game without any comments

Thanks for watching. Please wait for next post.

Good bye
