A World War now unfolding? I hope not, but controversy between R2GM and TCM has grown so large that many kingdoms have chosen sides to support as the tension grows.

The week was long and hard. Alliances being broken as Kingdoms did sneaky things behind their allied kingdom's back.

The N-S alliance between Road to GM and We are Back is hanging on by a thread due to a news post on the newspaper that R2GM claimed was made by Ant-R2GM, pro-TCM advocates. Whether or not this is true We Are Back ended up dissolving the N-S Alliance and forming a new alliance with The Chess Mafia and Elements of Fire, the two worst enemies of Road to GM at the moment.

The news post that was posted that ended up in dissolving the N-S alliance:

"YWK's mission at destroying the evil TCM is succeeding. Already the TCM kingdom is falling. R2GM has now decided their help is not needed anymore and plans at destroying the N-S alliance with We are Back has begun. R2GM's has found that WAB is using them as protection and R2GM will take advantage of WAB for now, but later will destroy them. R2GM has 3 Alliance battles through the N-S alliance and so they will not want to destroy the alliance just yet."

Although Road to GM claimed again and again that they were complete supporters We Are Back broke the alliance.

We are Back leader wrote:

"I ( @DIVYAUJJWAL ) HAVE GONE MAD SO HE BREAKS THE NS ALLAINCE , OFFERS A NEW ALLIANCE TO TCM , GCC AND EOFC TOGETHER."

Road to GM ordered a secret emergency meeting between the leaders and there response:

"Bruh"

R2GM will not give in to WAB's threats. We will make our way to them and destroy them for choosing to side with TCM. R2GM's is omnipotent. We will destroy all enemies.

The new list of R2GM worst enemies include We Are back. If they had not dissolved the N-S alliance they would have been safe. But since it is broken R2GM is ready to sign a new alliance in order to attack We are Back and take over their territories and allow the citizens of those territories to strive once again as the tyranny of WAB is removed."

So, at the beginning of the week this alliance was strong. But since R2GM was 'lied' about WAB left the alliance and now R2GM has sent very serious threats their way. Since We are Back has a much smaller army they are probably very worried at this moment while R2GM is most likely standing with their chest out.

In the South-East The Golden 64 Squares yet again announced that they are mobilizing. They've thrown out attacks at several different locations. With them being the biggest club in the war they still only have one territory having lost their MD territory to Bright Moons.

The Golden 64 Squares may be on the lookout to attack all kingdoms ruled by @Captainclam as we have noticed in the past few days. They've attempted an attack on R2GM's ally, The Better than awesome chess club on E6. This was a daring move for TG64S but the attack failed and TG64S backed down quickly while there was still time.

But it wasn't over. TG64S wants to take over Captainclam's territories. They now attack More than conquerors which is also another kingdom of captainclams and in the Bruh alliance (featuring R2GM as well)

The Golden 64 Squares is determined to Cause havoc but it doesn't seem like they are able to at this point. They've attempted an attack on several kingdoms but they've backed down.

Up in the north the kingdom of Chexx Pistols on A9 was taken by Parottopia thus proving that the theory that Parrottopia was going to dissolve quickly was not going to do so very quickly. Chexx Pistols has attacks I9 in an attempt to restore their kingdom on the map, in the very North-Eastern part of the world.

A very important event just happened! We are Back lost one of it's territories to The Royal Kings which is lead by their leader @DonRajesh. This must have been good news to Road to GM as they had just destroyed their alliance. Whether or not R2GM purposely destroyed the alliance by making the media post rumors about them  is unclear. It has been rumored that R2GM actually wanted WAB to dissolve the alliance so they asked the media to post lies about them. This may or may not be true. But the media did post stuff about them that could be true.

As the controversies across the world unfold, by far the biggest one is the TCM/R2GM controversy. News was posted on the papers this morning, here's a bit from the daily Med:

"Just now, the Republic of Nations was just founded.

The purpose of the Republic is to keep peace and order throughout the kingdoms. They allow battles, but the Republic is there to keep it out of hand. You get the point.

The Republic triggered air raid sirens in all 3 territories of YWK a few minutes after its founding. They also declared a state of emergency against TCM and WAB, which is currently at DEFCON 1.

The Republic is looking for clubs to join us in our fight against TCM and WAB."

It seems like the Republic of Nations was founded to stop TCM and WAB. While it is clear that Your Worst Knightmare and Road to GM are sympathetic of each other they have not officially allied, at least not yet. The leader of YWK (rohithbala) was the one that founded the Republic of Nations.

The Stress between Road to GM and The Chess Mafia is now bigger than first conceived. Even the Press is surprised. Major world Kingdoms have now chosen sides. The list allegiances are as follows:

Road to GM, The Better Than Awesome Chess Club, Chess Ultramasters, Coolest Chess, The Golden 64 Squares, Official Club Wars Playing Club, Your Worst Knightmare.

The R2GM allegiance has 7 kingdoms which includes a total of 13 territories.

The Chess Mafia, We are Back, Global Chess Community, Elements of Fire Chess Club, Bright Suns.

This is only 5 Kingdoms but they are still very powerful in the world with 16 territories to their name.

The Global Chess Community just succeeded in conquering one of Chess Ultramasters' territories...actually, their only territory.

Many of the major kingdoms have remained neutral. Whichever side manages to claim them to their side could change the tide of this war.

Some have began to title this controversy as a World War. Others, like Club Wars Player of Official Club-Wars playing club have been trying to make peace because all CWP knows is that Rauf of TCM sneezed on Nightly-Knight's foot so he's angry and they're both angry. But there is more to it than that. YWK started the controversy and R2GM has only stressed the words of Your Worst Knightmare more than Rohithbala of YWK ever meant it to be. YWK has chosen to side with R2GM on this affair as they were the first to start the controversy, but for some reason it became known as the R2GM/TCM controversy and not YWK involved in the name?
