About Deepan Chakkravarthy J


Deepan Chakkravarthy became India's 13th GM in 2006. He is a former Asian Junior Champion (2002) and also former National Challengers Champion (2007).  He was also a part of the Indian chess team at the 2007 Asian Indoor Games that took the gold medal in the rapid chess event and silver in the standard event. His current classical FIDE rating is 2535


About Stany G A:



Stany G A became India's 58th and Karnataka's 2nd GM in 2018 after scoring his final norm in the National Senior Championship at Jammu. He is a former U-17 National champion and has also won International open events in his career. His classical FIDE rating is 2522 at the moment.

There will be a new layout in Season 2. In addition to that, there will also be some new additions in the format. We will also be having a Chess Variant and  Visualization puzzles too.  The show will be LIVE and not recorded unlike the last time.

Currently work as a community manager for Chess.com India. 

I have a GM norm and an IM norm. Became a FIDE Trainer recently. Coached two Indian Teams for the Olympiad for PWD. Apart from playing and teaching chess, I dabble in writing and reading. Can speak in English, Kannada, Hindi, Tamil and Marathi.  I recently wrote a short story titled 'Over a Cup of Chai' that's available on amazon. My last novel 'The Lively Library & An Unlikely Romance' is a story of a library where books come to life at night.  

My username was Geborgenheit previously. 
Geborgenheit is a german word which is hard to explain. It can only be experienced; It could also be inner peace of your soul. Google says 'security' but it is more than that!
