About bullet...
Most people think bullet chess is just playing random moves and winning on time. But since I have been playing a lot of bullet lately and have found out that it is a lot deeper than that. So here are a bunch of things I've learned in the past few weeks.
The art of premoves...
Playing correct premoves is extremely crucial for this game mode. And when you premove right, the win is extremely satisfying. When I play, I usually premove the opening. This sounds like a bad idea but if you know exactly what you are doing, it's awesome to save time. This idea is most effective when you play as black because once you know what opening your opponent is going to pay after 1 or 2 moves, you can just move all your pieces.
The art of winning on time...
This is sort of a last resort. Usually, the idea is to gain material and punish the opponent for blunders. But one idea is winning on time and many players think this is the only way to win. Sure, this works when playing against players of ratings 0 to 800 to 1000 but anything higher than that is sort of hard because players get the hang of the mode and can literally think like it's just a blitz game.
The art of accepting you lost tragically...
Here's the scenario, time is ticking down, you are winning by material, you are literally one move away from that premoved ladder checkmate but then, oh would you look at that, your time ran out. This is extremely common in this gamemode. All you need to know inside is that you did win, and just need to focus on time and if you consistently lose like this, once you fix that time problem, you will literally be a bullet legend in no time.
