ODESS An Offensive+Defensive Chess-like strategy game.

Seven years ago I set out to create an American Football Chess game, only to discover that since 1923 there had already been 26 patent applications for 'American Football Chess.' I was already pretty heavily invested in the concept so my heart sank when these patents arrived in my inbox from our IP lawyers. However, not one of these games played like Chess. Mostly they were more related to Chequers. Some used Dice, others Playing Cards but not one was built on pure strategy. 

Odess, which stands for Offensive Defensive Chess, is a fusion of 'athletic abilities' and chess-like movements. It is not for the faint-hearted as it is a totally new strategy concept and requires players to really sink their minds into the game. There are quite a number of assets that have been created, like; a 240-page user-guide, 24 videos, a website, 350+ illustrated diagrams...

In a few weeks, Odess will go live on Kickstarter. We have three main goals;
1. get the funding to build an online game, very similar to Chess.com
2. get the funding to build an AI version (so that you can play against the computer), and
3. get the funding to supply the physical game + AI app. to 10,000+ players.

We don't want to compete with Chess, we simply want to add another mindful pure strategy game into the mix. Here are some of the channels - I'd be thrilled to get some serious feedback.
