TEAM PHILIPPINES LIVE CHESS wins ONE WORLD League's 1st Spring 24 Hours Arena
First week in our second live chess season in 2024 is completed: In five Arenas per week clubs and players are competing to determine our Spring Bullet, Blitz, Rapid, Chess960 and 24 Hours Champions. Clubs with the most gold medals from all 65 Spring Arenas and players with the most points will become ONE WORLD League's Spring Live Champions 2024.
TEAM PHILIPPINES LIVE CHESS has won ONE WORLD League's 1st Spring 24 Hours Arena, followed by 3 CHECK FUN and Glory for Red Green, ONE WORLD League's 24h Winter Masters winner.

Unfortunately this Arena has been created accidentally without the usual "10 scorers" parameter: As a consequence, results needed to be recalculated manually. Taking this parameter into account these are the final results in the 1st Spring 24 Hours Arena:
Overall standings after Spring season's week 1
All clubs are playing in the same Arena, while they are scoring in three different divisions (they were placed by their results in our inaugural Winter Season). Clubs and players score seasonal points as follows: 1st: 20 pts, 2nd: 15 pts, 3rd: 12 pts, 4th: 10 pts, 5th: 8 pts, 6th: 6 pts, 7th: 4 pts, 8th: 3 pts, 9th: 2 pts and 10th: 1 pt). Daily chess news
Today the first daily tournament in Spring season has started: 1600-1800 Spring Masters. Clubs are playing simultaneously five daily matches (1 day/move, 4+ boards). All matches will be adjudicated on June 1 to start immediately the 1600-1800 Summer Masters. Three clubs from each group will relegate and three group winners from the next level will promote. Next Sunday the 1400-1600 Spring Masters will start.
