An Interesting Sacrifice

So I was playing a game as White in an Advance French Defense a few weeks ago, and I came across an interesting possibility on move 8: sacrificing a bishop for some tempi and an attack (as well as 3 pawns). 

After seeing this, it's important to remember the idea as White of a c4-bishop sacrifice in the Advance French, and avoid this line as Black. Good luck!
