Chess Stream on Twitch.tv
Courtesy of Jerry from the ChessNetwork, chess streaming is becoming more and more popular. It's a great medium for displaying not only the educational aspects of chess, but also the interesting and exciting parts too.
I've recently started streaming my chess sessions on twitch as well, and hope that you'll join me on an exciting journey! I not only play chess, but I commentate my own games giving as much insight into my thought process as possible so that the beginner->intermediate viewers may be able to learn something and who knows, maybe more experienced players will learn something too (even if it is just what NOT to do! :P ).
I make my commentary as exciting as possible, and am highly interactive with my viewers. We play good (hopefully!) chess, listen to good music, and have an all around good time. I encourage my viewers to be active in the chat and to post their favourite songs which I play so we can all enjoy each other's music together!
On the occassions where there's a tournament being played when I'm streaming, I'll strive to bring those games to you as the moves are played so that we can all enjoy some extremely high quality chess, with some high quality entertainment with a pinch of analysis!
If my stream sounds like something you'd be interested in, I'd love for you to join me! Please go to twitch.tv/snatchpato and follow me so that you can receive emails when I go live so you don't miss a second! I will also be tweeting when I go live so if you're an avid twitter user, please follow me @SnatchMark!
