Hello and welcome beginners. This blog is for starters. Let us start with how to move pieces.

Pawns move like that but they can also move 1 square forward.
The Knight

The knight can move in what people say an “L” shaped way, also they can jump over pieces.
The bishop

Bishops can move diagonally.
The Rook

The rook can move horizontally and vertically in any amount of squares.
The Queen: the most powerful piece

The queen can move all the ways the other pieces move! Except as the knight.
The King: the one you need to protect

Kings can never be together. They move in any way but only in 1 square.
Here are their points:

Pawn:1
Knight:3
Bishop:3
Rook:5
Queen:9
King: Priceless

That’s it for now see you in part 2!
