Martin with 15 Queens!!
Firstly, I'd like to thank GothamChess a.k.a Levy Rozman for giving me the inspiration for this blog.
Introduction:
Whether it be playing your friends at your local chess club, reading chess tactics books or buying courses, there are many ways to practice the beautiful game of chess. One of the ways is to play against bots. Now, on Chess.com there is one bot that stands out in the crowd - his name is Martin. With an elo of literally 250, Martin is undoubtedly the worst bot on Chess.com. So, in this blog I gave Martin 15 Queens. Not clickbait. But the real question is - did I win? Find out in this chess game: Let's get into it -
Wow. That was the most intense game of my life. Starting with the Reti Opening (1. Nf3) to prevent checkmate on f2, and promoting to a Knight mid-game, I managed to seek out a win against this Bot. One thing I find intriguing is that Martin had the opportunity many times to sacrifice a queen for checkmate, which is proof that I did not use a higher-rated engine to beat him!
