Basic Mating Patters

I am going to create this blog and going to pack it full of as many basic mating patters as I can so that I can learn to recognize them when they pop up in games and possibly improve my game. I will be using refferences from my real games, some from various puzzles that I find, and also some from a really good chess book that I picked up and recommend completely, "How to beat your dad at chess"(examples from this book will have "Dad's Book" as the winning player). This blog will be updated regularly.
