--- Intro ---
Hello everyone! Before I begin I would like to clarify that this is mainly based on my experience. If you're interested in what Stockfish says, Here is the list:
#5: g3 (King's Fianchetto Opening)
#4: c4 (English Opening)
#3: Nf3 (Reti Opening)
#2: d4 (Queen's Pawn Opening)
#1: e4 (King's Pawn Opening)
My Top 5 first moves have some similarities but is definetly a little different. I hope you enjoy!

#5: The Reti Opening
Nf3 is mainly known for it's flexibility. It can also lead to things like:
-An English structure:
-Or a King's Indian Attack:
#4: The King's Fianchetto Opening
With you are preparing to Fianchetto your Bishop and support your center but this also mainly leads to the King's Indian Attack (which is shown above). Overall there is not much to explain here.
#3: The English Opening
What 1.c4 does is control the central light squares with your Pawns and Pieces. For example like this:
#2: The Polish Opening
The ideas behind 1.b4 are simmilar to the ones behind the Nimzowitsch-Larsen Opening but by pushing your Pawn one square further you are making development harder like this:
So basically you are fianchettoing your Bishop to support your center and you are slowing down your Opponent's development.
#1: The King's Pawn Opening
This is still my most played Opening or good reasons.
-It controls the center
-It Opens up the Bishop
-It allows many of my favorite Lines
