EUROPEAN ONLINE YOUTH INDIVIDUAL & TEAM CHESS CHAMPIONSHIP 2020
From 18 to 20 September Tihon took part in the personal-team online European Championship:
EUROPEAN ONLINE YOUTH CHESS CHAMPIONSHIP 2020 Open 12 on Chess-Results.com
23 participants, accompanied by local referees, played in 3 halls (Kiev, Kramatorsk, Kharkov).
I would like to express my special gratitude to the management and coaching staff of our Kharkov Federation, which provided a room and provided a wonderful environment for the game (all working equipment received a full 'Upgrade')!
Tihon started first, and finished the Championship, dividing the 3-5th place (according to additional indicators - 4th place).
It was a very interesting experience that highlighted a lot of new and unexpected nuances.
It was nice to take part in such a large-scale event and again feel all the emotions and experiences during the game!
