Purim Chess 2024 - Knight Lessons
Teaching chess close to Purim is nice, sometimes the kids have costumes and sometimes the pieces do. Purim is a celebration where people wear costumes as in Halloween but for a different reason.
About the knight, in Hebrew we say that a knight that moves from b1 to a3 is not a horse but a donkey. This is the lesson of today, we need to move our pieces where they can do the best of them in this case moving to a3 allows the knight to do 3 potential moves when moving to c3 5. What do you think is better 3 or 5?
We should do the same in life, and move to a place where our potential for growing is bigger.
