I. The Basic Setup:

+ d4: Controls the center.

+ Bf4: Develops the Bishop early, controls key squares (such as e5)

And now, we completed the solid structure!

+ Bishop on d3 (Bd3): Develops the dark-squared Bishop, aims at Black's kingside, prepares for castling.

+ Knight on f3 (Nf3): Natural developing move, controls center.

+ Knight on d2 (Nbd2): Often develops here to avoid blocking the c-pawn, can jump to f3, c4 or e4 later.
+ Knight on e5 (Ne5) is a powerful strategic piece that signifies White's central control, kingside pressure, and overall active position! If Black's Knight on c6 captures your Ne5, you recapture with dxc6, and your pawn on e5 now attacks Black's Knight on f6.
