Chess.com Lost?!
So in my last "Computer vs Computer" blog, I made chess.com bots play each other.
But what if I made different chess bots from different websites play each other?
This time, I've made it like a tournament as you can see.
Now get ready for some high-level chess, because I'm gonna make the highest chess bots of each site play each other :0
ROUND ONE
MathIsFun vs Chess.com
I predict that Chess.com should win because MathIsFun is a...math website.
Of course, Chess.com won. Chess.com had 1 brilliant move as well :0
Chess.com played like a 2850 and MathIsFun played like a 2100.
Next we have:
SparkChess vs Lichess
Now I dont know who could win this. I've never used SparkChess and I've never cared about Lichess's bots.
Before we congratulate Lichess, I wanna say how happy I am that SparkChess have been knocked out. The interface on that site is just so baddd on that website. Like, so bad.
Anyways congrats to Lichess!
Lichess played like a 2950 and SparkChess played like a 2400 :0
365Chess vs ChessAnyTime
I have never used any of these websites before so I don't have a prediction. Let's see what happens:
That was a crazy game! There were so many weird sacrifices!
365Chess had 2 brilliant moves and an estimated average of 2800!
And now for the final game of the first round:
ChessKid vs GameKnot
As a former ChessKid user, I hope that ChessKid wins lol.
Of course, I'm making the best free bots play each other sooo GameKnot has no way to win :0
(GameKnot's highest rated free bot is 1600 elo ._.)
A part of me doesn't wanna make them play and waste my time but I will :0
HOW :0
The 1600 GameKnot bot drew the 2750 rated ChessKid Vishy-Bot!! (Good thing I didnt skip this game lol).
Even though the game ended in a draw, I'm going to allow GameKnot to go to the next round! (Even tho that doesnt make sense)
So in round 1, we had Chess.com, Lichess, 365Chess and GameKnot win. There four websites qualify for Round 2!
And for the other websites, I might make them play each other in a different blig. Prolly not.
ROUND 2
Chess.com vs Lichess
We have Chess.com vs Lichess! Lichess has an estimated rating of 2900 while Chess.com has one of 2850. So this should be an equal match-up.
Chesscom had an estimated rating of 2500 and Lichess had one of 2850.
I feel like Lichess will win this competition after this game lol. The bot is too strong :0
GameKnot vs 365Chess
GameKnot might have a chance? I dont think soo....
365Chess played very well vs ChessAnyTime, so they also have a chance :0
GameKnot tried their best. An estimated rating of 2100 for GameKnot and 2700 for 365Chess.
I hoped that GameKnot would win, especially after it beat ChessKid.
Anyways congratulations to 365Chess for reaching the finals!
THE FINAL
Lichess had an estimated rating of 2900 and 2850 in its previous games. 365Chess had an estimated of 2800 and 2700. For the finals, there will be two matches so that both sides play with the white and black pieces. More fair that way.
I predict that Lichess will win this :0
A draw! Nice! Now the 2nd game:
And the prize for the best chess computer on any website goes to......Lichess!
Lichess played so well the entire time, with an average rating of 2900!
Chess365 also did well with an average of 2700, and other websites were all around 2400.
The Third Best...
So now we kinda now that Lichess and 365Chess are the two best engines. But what about the third best? Who is the bronze medalist? Chess.com or GameKnot?
Well, even without a game, Chess.com obviously wins this category. GameKnot might have had a chance if I could get their 2700 rated bot but the highest rated free bot on the site is 1600, so Chess.com wins :0
Now note that this blog doesn't do anything. I made each website only play each other once, but that itself is kind of a disadvantage for the website having the Black pieces. I also didn't use GameKnot's best bot, so they didnt even have a chance from the start. I know its kinda stupid for me to say this after you just read the entire thing, but eh lol. I'm also really bad at coming up with things to write after games. Soo...yeah. Thanks for reading, have a good day :0
