My Games in the NY Open (online)

Hi everyone! I haven't posted in a while, but I wanted to share my recent tournament, the New York Open u1700. The format is the following: 5-SS, G/45+10 on ICC Here are my games, enjoy! Let me know in the comments if you want me to post more often, and what you would like posted!

Here is the first game that I played.

That game went pretty smoothly, but this next one I had one of my biggest "panic" modes ever.

Now that game, was terrible! I panicked under pressure in an endgame it is almost impossible to draw in. The good news is I learned, if your under time pressure up two pawns, keep both just in case. Also at this point I was pretty mad, so I was looking for revenge.

A win! I needed to stay solid in the next two games, I could afford a draw to stay in the running, but I always play for a win.

That game was more complicated, but now I have to prove I can win the next game.

This next game I was black

I finished the tournament clear second with 4.5/5
