Circular Chess, Multidimensional Chess and Other Variants

A while ago, I have talked about how the game of chess should remain unchanged. I don't like it when people mess with simplicity. However, I still think that the circular chess variants and even the emergence of multidimensional chess have become quite interesting forms of strategy. They even now started having "six player circular chess", 96 Cell 3 person chess boards, and other variant board designs. It even goes beyond that. There is a whole list of Chess variants outside of the multidimensional chess category that follow orthodox and non orthodox rules. I think I might be warming up to the idea of some of these given the pattern and strategy making is very similar. Only time will tell how interesting some of these will be. Personally, I like the idea of the "infinite" chess board variant.
