One of the best chess players in his era was Paul Morphy, who even went on to get praise from Bobby Fischer, who listed him as his pick as the #1 chess player who ever lived in history prior to his time (Known as Fischer's top ten). Morphy was known for being insanely accurate, and having further insight on potential chess moves that other player's would throw at him.
