The Future Fame of Chess Players

When looking at the peak fame of people like Fischer, you kind of get memorized on what this done to the game of chess. Looking at the large comeback that chess is making, I wouldn't be surprised that if on an intellectually forward society, that chess players might start being as popular as athletes, actors, or entertainers. Infact, next to eSports, I think that chess is going to be one of the next "big things" in terms of viewership. This prediction is one I would be interested to seeing how it would play out. That being said, anything can happen.
