World Championship Round 4: Game Analysis

World Championship Round 4: Game Analysis

Nov 15, 2016, 5:49 PM 10

Today felt eerily familiar. An excruciating defensive task for Sergey Karjakin after an opening gone wrong. A seemingly winning position that had its tricks and traps. But unlike yesterday, today I had a busy day, live on the official broadcast and on the Norwegian TV station NRK. My praise of Magnus Carlsen's play did not translate into a win for the champ. Another huge fight, another demonstration of Magnus' prowess, another frustrating finish. After 6+ hours, a draw was agreed, and the players enter the rest day tied 2-2.

Enjoy the analysis, and please, as always, leave any questions in the comments!
