Beginners Are Drawn To The F-Pawn

When beginning players learn that the F-pawn is weak. The next thing you have to teach them is to leave it alone. Here my young opponent wastes a couple of tempos on a quick attack. I'm sure he has won some quick games against other players. It's like sugar. When you taste that high you want more. It takes awhile to learn that it's not good for you. The F-pawn can be a good target just not so early in the opening. It's a Friday night club game mismatch, but it contains a couple of learning moments.
