Italian Game

Italian Game is my favorite opening. I mean, look at the beauty of this thing! So much can stem from this and one wrong move from your opponent can send your advantage skyrocketing. As black, I usually like to play Blackburne Shilling Gambit to hopefully profit a pawn, queen, or even checkmate. As white, however, my next move is dependent on my opponent’s. My favorites are Giuoco Piano Main Line then Center Attack, which is kind of like Scotch Game but  exchanging bishops as well, Knight Attack after Two Knights Defense (profiting a queen, rook, or knight), and Fried Liver Attack after Knight Attack to get a better position and a material advantage. However, when people play anything else, I just develop as normal. The most annoying counter as black is the 🤮 Anti-Fried Liver Defense🤮. Why is this a thing? Every time I see this, I just defenestrate myself into the Grand Canyon. Anyways, yeah, if you play Italian Game, you are infinitely better than anyone else. Absolute value rizz. (jk people who play other openings are cool too unless it is the Anti Fried Liver or…. the….. Caro-Kann………..😭😭🤮🤮🤮🤮😰
