Stop falsely banning members.
Kinda a part 2 on the previous blog about cc’s atrocious moderation
So if you read the last blog, you would know Deflection got banned, right?
Well, 2 of my other friends were banned, and I believe they didn’t do severe offenses.
We’re still talking about @Deflection (who I am going to refer to as Deef)
DEFLECTION:
Deef, who was a paying member for about 2 years was banned not too long ago. I believe he was banned due to ‘harassment’ towards members. Now, the supposed ‘harassment’ was because there was someone (Who I’ll refer to do as ‘Them’) causing drama and I believe he got a little bit frustrated and said some things to make the troll back off and fight for his own rights. (Idk my memory sucks) Now, chess.com, why would you ban a paying member? Milking your own clients I see, the bills really can’t be this high. You also banned him just as his membership expired, you scrubs. Put #FreeDeflection in your bio, status, or whatever to show him support.
PENGUIN CROSBY:
Now, I do not understand why he was banned. I believe all he was doing was just investigating cc’s situations and troll’s activities. I believe this is the 2nd he was banned for just investigating. I don’t know exactly what he does, but I infer those are what he is doing. I don’t believe some of you staff are investigating into the situations to see if it’s truly a ban for the good. #FreePenguin
TOASTOVEN:
Why? I do not believe Toast has done much wrong to deserve a ban. Unless it’s for being underage or something, I understand, I guess. But either than that, it doesn’t make sense, she mostly talks on DMs and I’m sure they are cc appropriate. Do better moderation, chess.com. (No automod, ai sucks. Human > ai.)#FreeToast.
MEI (DEMOLISMENT)
She has previous accounts that were banned for no reason, and I hope she got permission to make these accounts. If I missed something, then I don’t know, but I believe she was just a lil chaos thingy (in a good way-) in otf, making friends, making a smile appear everyday, maybe even every minute. One of the best friends you could have, yet was banned for maybe no reason. #FreeMei (she has an account rn, that could maybe get banned)
FORSAKEN (Not yet.)
This would be idiotic. I have been a paying member for about 6-7 months (bro, no 67-) and I believe I have been the good I could be, despite being muted for talking about pepper pig and trying to deescalate a situation the best I could. I have also gifted at least maybe 6 memberships for members of chess.com to improve in chess and get a better experience. If I am banned, this will show how bad your moderation is, letting a troll get away. Please, any staff reading this, I would request better moderation. #TwoTime.
Some extras, I’ve heard 2 people were banned before for being accused as illegal alts, do better digging, chess.com. (@BasixWhiteBoy and @car-geek)
Now, I am aware cc has millions of members and they’re doing their best, but this is just sad. Take your time and don’t rush with moderation or angry mobs will happen.
Spread awareness of this, but do not spam.
