Take a seat, Chess.com.
I’ll start from the beginning. Deflection, [someone who I will not ever say the user of], and I were permanently muted recently. How’d did it start? I’ll tell a short recap.
There was some very uneventful drama happening, and ‘They’ (I assume this part) mass reported us. ‘They’ also got permanently muted just like us. We unmuted ourselves through a bug, and things went normally, but Deflection was still sour towards ‘Them’.
Now, I do not believe Deflection and I were innocent all the way, we did get a little bit frustrated at ‘Them’. ‘They’ caused most of the uneventful drama, and we were muted through mass reporting. Well, what seems to be the problem if the drama is somewhat resolved?
This, and I say THIS, is the problem. I do not expect any staff to see this and if they do, they would most likely not disclose the information of why he was banned. Why weren’t ‘They’ banned? ‘They’ caused most of the calamity that day, which I will not say what happened.
This is where my concerns of who even is reviewing these reports are. I do not believe Deflection has done anything too severely like ‘They’ did. Sure, he got frustrated at them, but anyone else would be top. ‘They’, were the ones rage baiting everyone (and we sadly fell for it), and ‘They’ were the one calling us most of the bad names, and telling the clubs ‘They’re’ in telling everyone to mass report me.
Deflection has been a member of the site for a few years, and were a paying member. I do not understand how a loyal member gets banned but someone who trolled and ragebaited doesn’t.
I made this to merely show how awful Chess.com’d moderation is, and how unfair chess.com is towards people who didn’t do much, and how they let trolls pass through. (I am aware chess.com has banned some trolls, but still.)
I do not wish for anyone to put the user of who ‘They’ are in the comments, and any comments saying so will be deleted. Because it would just ‘start things up again’, like ‘They’d’ say. I do not wish for you to go to ‘Their’ DMs and harass them, and I don’t want anyone mentioned in this to be harassed.
I am vouching for @Deflection to be unbanned. #FreeDeflection. (Oh, hey! #FreeBasix!)
Oh, and last thing, chess.com, to end this.
