When I was young in the Philippines I learned how to dance the ballroom and latin dancing while I was appearing in the movies in the 1960s as a bit player actor in the Philippines and was taking up my accounting courses. But I stopped dancing to concentrate on my studies when I was not able to get a break in acting.
When I came to New York City in July 1970 I resumed to dance the ballroom and latin dance again. I dance in every parties I attended. Now that I'm retired I dance every time I have a chance to dance even at home alone if I have nothing to do. I just play my ballroom CD and start dancing. This is my exercise since retirement. Dance is a good exercise for your body.
