New Chess Defense

I discovered a new chess defense. It starts when your opponent plays d4 and you respond with d5. Your opponent then plays bishop to f4, which is the Accelerated London System. You respond with 2...Nd7. I'm calling that defense the Rhino Defense. It looks like a weird move, doesn't it? However, it leads to a solid, structural defense. I'll try it in a game soon, and if it works, hopefully this will become a real opening.

The Shortest Wins in Chess

Today I'm showing you guys some of the shortest wins in chess, some of which you might have never heard of!

Most players have heard of 1. f3 e5 2. g4 Qh4#. But most players ALSO haven't heard of 1. f4 e5 2. g3 exf4 3. gxf4 Qh4#. Have you guys heard of the previous one? It looks possible, though very unlikely.

One that literally happened to me several weeks ago when I was playing as White was 1. e4 f5 2. Qh5+ g6 3. Be2 gxh5 4. Bxh5#. That was a quick win!

Probably the most unlikely one when you're playing as black is 1. f4 f5... wait, f5? Why? Anyway, after that is 2. g4 e5. 2...e5 is what I call the Black's Center Kingside Gambit. After that is 3. fxe5 or 3. gxf5. Then 3...Qh4#.

That's it for today! Have a good day!
