Opening Moves

I hate the openings - I never could stomach studying opening moves when I first learnt to play (quite young, many, many years ago) and now, on returning to chess after a long break, I feel at a distinct disadvantage - it always feels like a bit of a lottery. I've played some games recently where I've found myself at a distinct disadvantage after just a few moves. Time to do some studying!
