Yet more on solar activity/winter 2012/2013

Solar activity seems to have reached its maximum for this solar cycle now, and hus for the next 5 years we will see declining solar activity, as we head towards the minimum.

Polar magnetic fields are about to flip, and so the sun will hit max around now.

Given that this maximum is only around 150 on the 10.7 cms flux and normally its 250 or thereabouts, we can say that this maximuml is very low, and hence winters will begin to get even colder

 

So last year we saw the Loire in France freeze, and I expect this to happen again this year and for every year for the next 5 years ,with winter temperatures really pplunging to the minuses.
