Welcome back everyone for today's blog we will talk about the one and only Hikaru Nakamura who ranked #2 in the world and never expected that to happen but Hikaru is not only The US champion but also a legendary streamer and we all love his streaming but the question is how did this normal guy turn into a chess champion now let's just look at Hikaru's story 

The amazing story of Hikaru Nakamura:

🎓 Early Life and Chess Beginnings
Born on December 9, 1987, in Hirakata (a place which is very similer to his name) Japan, Nakamura moved to the United States at the age of two. Raised in White Plains, New York, he began playing chess at seven. His stepfather, Sunil Weeramantry, a FIDE Master and chess author, coached him and his older brother, Asuka. At nine, Nakamura stopped attending school to focus on chess, receiving homeschooling thereafter .

Nakamura earned the title of Grandmaster in 2003 at 15, becoming the youngest American to achieve this at the time. He has since secured the U.S. Chess Championship five times and represented the U.S. in seven Chess Olympiads, winning a team gold medal in 2016

Nakamura began streaming in 2017 but gained significant traction during the COVID-19 pandemic. His engaging and interactive style attracted a vast audience, making him the most popular chess streamer on Twitch

If u all were watching champions chess tour then u guys saw that Hikaru had roasted Magnus but he resigined in a winning position (seriously Hikaru ) but anyways we love our Hikaru

here u see him laughing even if he lost (lol) Hikaru was winning and i know all of u might be thinking why did Hikaru resign even if he was winning well here is the answer he could not find the winning move but magnus did and that Hikaru broke my heart when he resigned now let me show u the position:

here in this position u can see that white is conpletly winning like if white moves Rfg3 then if black takes the Queen then it is a mate on g8 but did Hikaru even think and the answer is no Hikaru thought he was losing and he resigned But it ok to lose games all of us lose some times .
