Happy weekend Everyone!

Can't believe we are already in October. Christmas is merely 2.5 months away! Doesn't feel that way, but it's true!

It's refreshing to see Carlsen, Caruana & Co playing OTB chess again, this time in Norway. From tournament sponsor/organizer perspective it seems to be the perfect time for a super-tournament as there is otherwise little top level chess to follow these days.

When it comes to us mere mortals, playing OTB tournaments seems a bit challenging - travel is nearly impossible in Europe without quarantining in some shape and form; even when you get to a tournament, the playing conditions are far from normal - masks, glass shields between players, the social aspect is non-existent. Also there is always additional exposure to people and hence higher risk to catch the You-Know-What.

The above are really my own considerations whenever I think about playing an OTB tournament, and luckily so far common sense has prevailed and I am staying at home back in Edinburgh, Scotland.

Since no OTB chess is available at least for me, I have been quite active with this "new" (well not so new I guess now) thing called streaming chess related subjects. I gotta admit I do enjoy this a great deal, since I love playing chess and analyzing games, so why not to share my joys with the world. I really appreciate my loyal viewers and fellow more experienced streamers for supporting me.

Anyway, let's cut to the chase, tomorrow, Sunday, 11th October I will host the #6 episode of "Master Analysis of Your Games"!

What is "Master Analysis of Your Games" all about?

A couple of hours a week I spend analyzing YOUR games LIVE on my Twitch channel. You are able to ask questions, which I then try to answer on the spot. This is NOT analysis with top engines (you can do that yourself). This is me offering my humble opinion/explanations when looking at certain positions and analyzing your games in general. So in short - it is your chance to get a human feedback on your games, and you get to ask questions if anything is unclear!

When is the next analysis session?

11 October, 11AM London time (GMT+1)

How will it work?

I will analyze LIVE on my Twitch channel YOUR games and you will be able to ask questions etc.

How do I submit my games?

Post them in the comments session below.

Thanks in advance for submitting your games. Your contributions is the key ingredient for these sessions to be a success, and so far it has been far from disappointing!

Have a fantastic weekend!

Cheers,
Ritvars
