With five different bots available, there’s something for everyone: from ChessGPT and Chippy (perfect for beginners); PAL 9000 (ideal for intermediate players); Skyweb (great at advanced level play); and Agent Chess (suitable even for experts looking to sharpen their game further still!)
I’ve been having a lot of fun playing against the A.I. bots on Chess.com, and I wanted to share some of my experiences with you all!
❗(P.S. I play without time limit, and I don't just play once, I only take my best match results)❗
Chess GPT (249)

His language model was designed to give us a realistic chess conversation experience and it has strength 249. This is the easiest bot of 5 types of A.I. bots. It only took 17 moves to defeat him
Chippy (700)

This bot reminds me of when i was little. It was a moving paperclip which used to pop up from desktop and make suggestions for what you might like to do. So if you opened up a Word document and typed "dear", he'd try to format your page as a letter.
PAL 9000 (1200)

Moving onto PAL 9000. Based on story, it was originally programmed as part of a failed mission in 1992, Danny Rensch reprogrammed it into a bot for Chess.com; its strength? 1200
Skyweb (1600)

Next came Skyweb with a strength rating of 1600 which proved more difficult but still manageable in the end and got a beautiful checkmate - although it took some strategic thinking on my part before finally claiming victory over this opponent too
Agent Chess (2700)

Finally, there was Agent Chess with an impressive 2700 strength rating – by far my toughest challenge yet! After several attempts, eventually emerged victorious from this match-up as well – what an accomplishment for me personally!!
The bots are incredibly strong opponents; they have been programmed with advanced tactics that can surprise even the most experienced players. Despite being defeated more than once (which is expected when playing such strong AIs!), I learned a lot from these matches and it has definitely helped me become better at chess overall. It’s also great fun too!!
